To buy a box? or not to buy a box? that is the question!

ive got my hands on enough money to buy a box and im debating whether i should or not. everybody has a ps2 so i can just go to a friends house to play one. with all the future kickass games the box is getting im thinkin of getting it. it has Project Ego, now known as Fable, Malice, Halo, MGS games, and it bought out Rare. pisses me off that they bought rare but the only way to enjoy them is to get a box. what do you think i should do?

btw i have a cube and im not gonna get a ps2.
