Has anyone bought this game yet? I reviewed it at videogamereview.com. It's worth renting it

It's a LOT like Devil May Cry, so keep that in mind on if this is game that interests you or not.

Here is the basic plot of the game, for anyone who's interested in this game but yet confused about whether should you rent it or not:

The story of Rygar begins with the Island of Argus being plagued by evil Titans. Armageddon has spread over the land, creating chaos as volcanoes, earthquakes, and monsters ravage the countryside. In mankind's darkest hour, a hero rises from the ashes to defeat the Titans, rescue the princess and restore order to the land. Become Rygar and your legendary adventure will begin. Lead him through several different worlds, each including new enemies and larger-then-life bosses. It will not be an easy journey for Rygar who will go up against over 70 enemies during his epic adventure.

Yeah, it was great, but it wasn't as good as I expected; TAE, I have different expectations for games than anybody else, so don't mind me. Haha~

This game RULES.

I just got the heavenly diskarmor. Each diskarmor combos a bit different, but this one can swing around i na circle whle advancing for 4 times in a row.

I walk down paths leveling virtually everything in site. I'm knocking down support coulumns (whichs lets some roofs cave in) statues like 12 times my size, all fodder enemies, etc....

There has NEVER been a cooler weapon in a game to whack people with than the diskarmor.

Game is worth $50 alone just to whail on stuff with it.

This game begs a sequel. Fix the static camera, and this game is a 9.0 at the very least.

So fun....

So far, not vastly difficult. It's not as hard as Devil May Cry (anotehr comparison, because they are so similar) but challenging. The game is more generous with allowing saves before big fights is the big difference, so while some bosses might be a challenge, the game allows you to load the game right before them and not fight 3 in a row before the next save point.

Call it a "fitting" diffuculty. Opening video is rather good too.

Do you think Devil May Cry was hard? because for me, it was easy, you NEVER run out of gun's ammo~ haha

Not hard, but saving was lame. I actually liked the difficulty on how hard bosses were - THAT was great. Not impossible, but you had to have some actual gaming skill to defeat the likes of Shadow & Company.

Not great - Needing yellow orbs to continue why that was lame was for some spots, you might want to kill many spiders and earm red orbs to level up your stats, then fight bosses. To do that, you might need a few chances against a given opponent in order to learn how to play them. Eventually you run out of those orbs, need to reload the whole game, and start back with killing spiders for the orbs you need to buy the powerups you need, to beat a given boss.

Repeat cycle a few times. It was parts like that I found rather lame, the only drawback to the game.
