Chat is defined as informal conversation.

Isn't that about all that goes on in the General Conversation forum?

I've wondered why there's a General Conversation forum and a Chat Forum since my first day here. Never came up with a reasonable answer.

I wondered about this too for about a week and a half when I first joined, then I just gave up. More forums for useless topics!

Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...

It would make perfect sense if they rename Chat forum to Spam forum.

No, because then no one would take it seriously and never post there. Some of the funniest stuff goes on in there. If the name was changed it would just turn into WRT.

But we all know that the purpose of chat forum is for spamming. Come in for your regularly chatting and spamming, it said.

Chat forum just sounds better than Spam forum, I guess.
