Anybody Black Friday?
Reply
Posted 2005-11-25, 08:01 AM
Went to bed at midnight.
Left the house at 5:55.
Done at 8:30.

I got 2x200GB ATA-133 HDDs ($30AR each), 50 DVD+Rs ($4AR), 50 DVD-Rs ($4AR), Wireless USB Mouse/Keyboard ($10AR), Zenith Universal Remote ($0AR), 16-pack AA Batteries ($3), 16-pack AAA Batteries ($3), Shaun of the Dead ($6), Friday Night Lights ($6), LotR Trillogy ($21).

What'd you get?

AR means after rebate. For instance, the hard drives actually cost me $80, but there's an online rebate for $50, so in 4-8 weeks, I'll get a check for the difference.

Lots of times, rebates fall through the cracks, and people just forget about them. Staples is really good about theirs tho, and since it's online, it's easy tracking. The only rebate I had to do was at Radio Shack (for the keyboard/mouse), and it's only $20.

I quit about a week ago. Fuck best buy.

Edit: I tried getting about 1/2 of the day off, and one day this past week. They scheduled me for 58 hours this work week. So I told them I'm done if I couldn't have it off.
