expecting a stimulus package via direct deposit. If you used some sort of online tax preparation (Turbo Tax, Tax ACT, etc.) know that if you opted to take the fee owed for the preparation out of your tax refund, you will be getting mailed a check instead of getting it directly deposited.
I repeat, if you opted for a direct deposit and paid your preparation fee through your refund, you will NOT be getting your stimulus money direct deposited, but through a check.
