In your opinion what is the best first person shooter game for PS2. I have only played one, and it is my fave, which is Unreal Tournment. I beat the game like 10 times and still trying for more. If you think there are better games, post em here!

Quake III for the PS2 has terrible multiplayer because of how low the resolution is. unreal is a bit better in that department, however, Red faction would have to be my pick.

i think Serious Sam would probably be a very a goodone to be up on that list because they didnt try to make up a lame-ass first person shooters storyline nor try to make the graphics realistic either (the graphics was still good). it was a fun game in which you get to just shoot the fuck out of everything you see and it was a good game that you can just sit back and relax on, even though its not on ps2

IMO there are not "Good" FPS games on console systems, simple being that you canot play a FPS game with a controller, IMO yes i have seen some neat FPS games on consoles but never could play them cues of the controlls. oh also to stay on topic my fav FPS console game was Metal Gear Solid I just loved how stories unfolded when you beat bosses, Almost cryed at the death of Sniper Wolf :-( (I know im a putz) thx for taking the time to read my post, or as some call it Typo Spam :-P

I don't have a ps2 but I can tell that the best fps game I played (PC) was RTC Wolfenstein. Multi-player is really fun, and solo is interesting. + it's graphics are very nice.
And SYG is right; Deus ex is excellent...

My brother rocked at that multiplayer demo. he couldnt play multi on his full version cause he got it from...... a different source so he couldnt play multiplayer.

MGS isn't a FPS... it's a tactical espionage/stealth adventure game.. but it is one of the best. I like AvP2 multiplayer demo... though I never got the full game.
