Some ideas for Hardcore games

Most of us know that hardcore is one of the best/ toughest playlists to play, due to the extreme high levels playing. Here are some tricks/ hints that could help you if you find a game without the radar.

1) Listen to the sounds around you and your teamates- Maybe the most important thing to do in a hardcore game. Listen for explosions and certain types of weapons. Listen to teamates say where they were when they died and how many people where there. Communication and listening can make or break a hardcore game.

2) Try and control weapons, ie) sword on lockout, rockets if available, ect. Then get your team to a location where you can hold them off, one with a few entrences and a few exits.

3) If there are ghosts/ warthogs- use them, noone will see you coming on their radar so splatters and easy kills are possible. Just make sure u understand that they can hear you coming at the last moment and have a chance to execute a plan.

4) Now, hardcore is starting BR's. At least one person on the team should have the pp at all times. In effect, the other team doesnt and allows us to get a lead or a win depending. Others should find snipes, rocks, swords, shotguns, etc.

5) Stay in teams, no lone ranger bullshit. Its hard enough to find someone let alone take them down when its one on one. LEt you and your partner take them out before they know what happens.

6) I cant stress it but communication is most important.

Those are some general ideas. Here are a few tricks i have learned that have really helped me.

1) pay attention to where people are going or like to be during a match. For example, on lockout, people like to go to the snipe and stay there. Send people in all directions and have at least one stay near the snipe spawn. They wont know that you are there and an assissanation/ easy kill could happen.

2) If you think somebody si following you, throw a plasma granade at your feet and straff until youa re statisfied that hes dead or not following you. It might give away your position, but it will sure as hell save you if your being followed.

3) Let your most accurate player get the snipe. At least one, if not all should follow, because the entire other team will be going for it as well. That and the rockets are weapons that can change a game. Oh and the sword because noone will know where it is at all due to the no radar.

4) COMMUNICATE

Communication and traveling in packs of two are the most important parts of Hardcore, and any game type for that matter. But it is EXTREMELY vital in HC.

Where do you think the best spots on each map are to try and hold down?

Lockout: Sniper tower.
Burial Mounds: Cov Sniper base.
Backwash: Just stay together really...
Beaver Creek: Roof tops, sticking together and controlling to the OS.
Ascension: Big tower, controlling OS again if possible. Or little tower is decent too.
Turf: No idea...
Ivory Tower: Not played very often, but Sniper spawn point.

Why can't I think of any other boards?
