Shawn Marion and the Suns

I don't know how many of you watch any Suns games but if not your missing out on some sexy basketball.
http://www.nba.com/suns/news/tribune_060227.html
Unfortunaly I didn't get to see that game, but I watch him play all the time and he fucking brings it every night! Ya some nights he's not hitting all shots but he's still making steals, rebounds, and beautiful plays every night whether he makes over 20 points or not. Sure you can credit Nash with alot but Marion has been a Sun his whole career and he's always been there for them.
I swear ya'll better watch out when Amare gets back man! They're going to be UNSTOPPABLE! Watch out playoffs!!!! I'm fucking stocked because they were so close last year, now they have so much more advantages than they had last year. Plus they're so under the radar. Everyone knows they're good, but they just don't attract as much attention because they haven't had any recent championships. Mike D'Antoni is a hell of a coach and I think he's got some strategys for the main contendors like the Spurs/Grizzlies/Pistons. He's obviously not going to let the Spurs beat them at they're own game again like last year. Ubar W00t

They were better last year when richardson was on the team. Amare cant shot for his life and marion is the only good player left on the team. Its easy for a small white boy if he has amare and marion on the team

Lmao. Stick to football or something because basketball isn't your strong point, I can see. Steve Nash is one of the most athletic people in the world. Basketball isn't even his best sport, he grew up playing soccer. He runs non-stop all game, all day. Who else in the NBA right now does that besides his other Suns teammates? He pushes them to run their hardest.. why do you think the Suns score so many points each game? Also, I'm sure you've heard of a little thing the NBA likes to call the MVP award. And... who won that last season? You guessed it, the small white boy.

I've been a Suns fan my whole life seeing as how I grew up in Phoenix, AZ. They were the shit back in the day when they had Sir Charles Barkley, Danny Manning, Danny Ainge, etc. and they are still the shit today. I'm keep my eyes peeled for Amare's return...

Honestly, Nash is the best point guard in the league at the moment, in my eyes anyway.

Rip Hamilton, is like 10 times more athletic than Nash. Watch a Piston's game, every possestion he is coming off a double screen and hitting the open jumper. And Billups > Nash. He is just a more dominate point gaurd imho. He can back basically any other point gaurd down, make a great pass, or just hit the big shot.

Yeh, I was thinking about Billups, but Nash is better IMO. Plus, Nash is a lot more fun to watch.

Nash may play with more "style", fast breaking and such, but I one-on-one I doubt Nash could even come to scoring against billups.

The Suns have like 37 or 38 wins if I'm correct without Amare who is one of their leading scorers and they already have 7 players averaging over 10 PPG. That's pretty damn good if you ask me and says a lot for their style. Nash is absolutely among the top 3 point guards in the game and they play a killer run and gun style offense that just wears teams down. I definitely wouldn't be surprised to see them among the final 4 teams, or even in the finals.

I certainly think Nash could score on Billups. Some of the stuff he does is truly amazing. Now holding Billups, I don't know. I'm not disputing that Billups may be able to beat Nash one-on-one, but that has very little to do with point-guard ability. I think if Nash were with Detroit they would hit 70 games this year.

I'm not sure that Nash would fit in with the rest of the Piston's line-up for this year. Detroit really doesn't have a front court that could get out and run, especial in its reserves. They seem to operate best out of a half court set. Also I'm not sure if Nash would be able to provide the kind of defense or minutes that the Pistons get from Billups. It's basically allowed Detroit to trade Milic and Arroyo for a draft pick, since Dumars is so confident with Billups.

Billups is good and he is really compatible with the Pistons. I haven't watched much Pistons games due to my lack of cable but from watching last seasons as a point gaurd he doesn't seem as generous as Nash does although he's no Kobe(king ball hog?) I would say he does what his role is on his team. The Suns overall pass it alot more than most teams, which fits in just fine with Nash.
1v1 I wouldn't be able to say, but they both do for they're teams what they're supposed to.

Oh ya. http://www.nba.com/suns/news/marion_060301.html
