Level Up

Just wondering where everyone's favourite places to level up (or for those at level 20, beat monsters in a relaxed manner) are.

Atm mine has to be the missions. I've gone from 8 to nearly 11 by doing the missions at: Northern Wall, Fort Ranik and the Frontier Gate. There's nothing more fun than sticking an axe through a Charr...and the two Trebuchet's you get to use on the Fort Ranik mission on amazing!! Saying that though, I wouldn't have minded charging into the middle of the bunches of Charr and decimating the entire warband with hastily cast blood magic spells, death spells and the odd rain of fire......I would probably have ended up being ripped to shreds (there's no doubt about it...a level 9 against 20 Charr Warriors, Axe Warriors, Martyrs, Shamans, Mind Sparks, Fire Callers, Fire Warriors and Ash Walkers) but it would have been good, old-fashioned, adrenaline-laced fun...

That mission with the trebuchets, I recently went back to do for fun and I killed all the groups of chars by myself without using the trebuchets. It was really hard tho.

As for my favorite hunting spot, its deffintly The Underworld, if you dont know what that is, its a dungeon that you can only goto if your country has the favor of the gods. Once you have favor your group has to pay 1000 gold to the shrine of belthazar and you get teleported to Underworld where every monster is level 26 or higher. The loot and gold you make there if you survive is amazing and theres quest there that give out 5000 to 10000 xp.

You must be level 20 and Ascended to enter this dungeon though.

I liked that mission too...just kept on firing the trebuchets...there are a couple of other missions with great big Charr Warbands...take the Nolani Academy one where you have to save Rin. There's an amazingly big warband there somewhere...and the ones you have to ambush...

As for having to be ascended and 20 or higher, I'm getting there. Halfway to lvl 16...so by the time Europe next gets the favour I should be able to enter the Underworld.

We've got two amazing teams it seems that can't help but win: Fully Infused and Esoteric Warriors. Whenever they fight they win it...until someone tries to take it off them.

True...and then there's Korea with their weird team with the Chinese or Japanese (or are they Korean?) characters. They know what they're doing.

I like how when we get the favour it's a battle between you and America to get it back...and the Fully Infused or Esoteric Warriors wins again and we get a little message:

______ _______ has won in the Hall of Heroes and keeps the favour of the Gods for Europe.

Where exactly is the Tenple of the Gods? Is it somewhere in the Shiverpeaks or hidden deep in the desert?

Its Temple of Age, and its located north west of Lions Arch in Kryta.

To think, I've passed right by it without knowing it's there.

I think I'll go look for it now.

Btw, when you checked the price of a Celestial Sigil where did you check it? I checked with the Sigil traders on the different Isles and found that it's now 70k...I know that the prices change with demand, but am still wondering where you checked.

w00t!! I've finally found the Temple of Ages...

OK, maybe I didn't find it, but I tagged along with a group of 5 lvl 20's and managed to find it...after dying a number of times...

Now I get to wait there until we get the favour again.

Yesterday I had the whole place playing I-Spy with me...

Once you have favor, you still have to be level 20 and reached ascension before you can enter Underworld or Fissure of Woe from Temple of Ages.

Both of them?!
