Hey, does anyone live in Austin? I just moved here and well...it sucks balls not knowing anyone in a big ass city, plus I need a job bad. This city is sweet compared to where I used to live but everyone that is hiring needs exp. Its like what! I have to of been waiting goddamn tables for over a year in order for anyone to hire me. Any simple minded fool can write down orders and moved dishes of food around! Don't worry I don't always talk about my diarreah.

*shudders at the thought of Austin rush hour traffic*

Sorry, I don't live in Austin. For me, Austin is just a stop at Freebirds on my way to whatever random 'con I'm visiting DFW for.

Cant be anyworse than Pheonix, or L.A.
LOL, I experienced something quite frustrating while driving, I was high at the time so I didnt mind much but Im sure everyone else did. Near this skate park I hang at sometimes is this railroad crossing on a major street, and it goes wacko sometimes and the lights come on and the bars go down as if a train is coming, and it will stay that way for hours! HA, the cops have to come and wave people past the bars, I cant wait for a train to come one day...

Lmao, that'd be trippy as hell if I saw it. On a related note: I was high driving home the other day and I was about to go over some railroad tracks. I was going about 40 MPH and the bars started to come down. I was really close to it so it was either speed up and risk hitting the bars or slamming on my breaks. I ended up breaking while my friend was laughing his ass off. I thought I was gonna get run over by a train.

You must be a pretty bad driver then, Thanatos. It's kind of hard not to notice railroad tracks.

Umm.. yes, I know. The bars started to come down right when I was about to cross over the tracks so I had to slam on my brakes.

You're supposed to stop when the lights start flashing, which is a few seconds before the bars come down.

It's really a quite simple process.

That's what I thought, too. But, the lights and sounds came on as soon as the bars started to move.
