Interesting Scenario 1
Reply
Posted 2004-08-11, 01:05 PM
You come across some magical something (genie, god, ring, muffin, etc.) and for some reason or another, it presents you with an opportunity. The opportunity is to be granted everything and anything you want forever and ever... essentially making you a sort of god. However, this tempting proposition has a bit of risk to it. The catch is, you are given a certain percent chance, upon agreeing, that instead of getting your wishes, you are forced into eternal suffering on earth. And I am not talking normal suffering... I am talking about "pound-me-in-the-ass" suffering.

If this were to happen to you, what would the lowest percent chance of getting what you want be for you?

I would say that I would do this if the magical god/muffin presented me with a 1/10 shot at getting what I wanted. That is a 90% chance of damnation, and pretty ballsy in my opinion.

Ye ye. I'd have to have at LEAST 75good/25bad chances. I probably wouldn't have the balls to do it at those odds either.

Provided, this isn't you picking the odds. It is the lowest you'd possibly go, obviously.... if that wasn't clear.

UZG, you don't have to kick the muffin in the balls. You can just say no.

I think I am gonna change mine to 40 good/60 bad...

If it was an item, then I would take the item and run or something. Then if it was a muffin, I would give it to some old hobo and watch him get all his stuff, take it, or watch him suffer with "teh butt secks". I would love to have a genie to annoy, or be a god and listen to peoples prayers and shoot trouble at them when they disobey stupid rules!
