Anybody going to QuakeCon? Starts 2 weeks from today!! (It's like the CPL, but it's free. $150,000 in prizes (Two tournaments are already full though... You still have a chance to be in the Doom 3 tourney.)

Bring Doom 3 as well in case you get drawn to be in the tourney. I can't find it on the website right now, but it's either $50k or $60k in prizes for that particular tourney. PWN

As far as going to something like that.... Maybe next year when I am not occupied with school or college or something. Since I am in Arizona its not that far away.

Eh. I'm on a huge ass waiting list for the Q3 1v1, and I'm signing up for Doom 3 Thursday.

I haven't even looked into other events... Completely forgot about that kinda stuff.

Why so much hate for quakecon from everyone? I don't understand what would prompt someone to say "fuck quakecon".
