Well, the social and political ramifications of a white box with a red X in it have been debated by experts for centuries. These debates stretch all the way back to the Holy Roman Inquisition, when heretics were branded with this very same icon made of paint and blood. The icon symbolized an absence of God within the individual, and was identified as a universal mark of ex-communication and shame throughout the hundreds and hundreds of years that have passed since.

Since those days, however, the social significance of the mark has been blunted, instead now symbolizing the fact that an online picture or photo did not properly load. These days, a white box with a red X in it is simply an annoyance, rather than a brand of spite and shame.

Is that what you were looking for, Robo?

Yes Raziel I see where you are going here but I believe your argument is flawed. Image attached for others who share his view.

It's really all just a matter of perception. Ghandi once said that there are as many religions as there are people, that's how I like to view this situation. As painful as it is to admit, I'm going to have to agree with John.

Do the US arcade DDR pads have four different colors for their buttons? This has suddenly become a great mystery. And my orc's eyes look messed up now. HEIN!

You can thank Chruser for that one, Jess. And Chruser, I based the pad off of the arcade pads I've seen and I'm pretty sure it had multiple colors.

I would rather gouge my dominant eye out with a scroll-saw whose blade was scraped against concrete for 3+ hours than play DDR.

Not for all the Euros in Europe.

Most people who hate it hate it because they are too uncoordinated and/or out of shape to play it. That or they hate the music. Or are too macho and masculine to play it. They're afraid of getting served.

I hate the music, and I wouldn't be caught dead playing, irregardless of being served or not. It's a good idea for people who like that sort of thing.

There's always someone better than you, there's no real point in being worried about being the absolute best. That goes for everything...

Edit: This guy will get more ass than you.
