So today for lunch I went to this oriental place (they serve Chinese, Korean, and Japanese), but instead of the usual stuff I order, I ordered a Terriaki lunch box, which happened to include some nigrizushi and sashimi on the side. Since I'd eaten at this place for years and I trusted them to prepare it right, I decided to try it... I used to be an ignorant man who wouldn't eat nigrizushi or sashimi because I was afraid to eat raw fish, now I can honestly say that I won't eat nigrizushi or sashimi because I dislike the taste.

I`ve tried to acquire a taste for it......I just cant. If my girl wants sushi I make sure that Tempura is available on the menu too.

Some sushi is decent, but yes, the taste is an acquired one...

I never found sushi to be an acquired taste. I actually liked my first bite. Some places use too much seaweed, though.

Grav, your sig is hypnotising me, BTW.

I tried sushi once. It was the most tasteless shit out there. Maybe it was just bad sushi.
