off beat characters

i have made some off beat dueling char it isnt like there the only one of there build but i have not seen many good tweaker necros like mine or many foh/blessed hammer pallys
or many pure trap assassins. all of my characters have come out pretty good and i actually like the fact that people underestimate me untill i kill them then i earn there respect. i am planning on making another one. anyone have any suggestions? one thoght i had was to make a conviction/vengence pally but i dont quite understand the way vengence works with the eledamage, for example does it modify damage on the weapon only? if so i think b star would be the way to go, but if not i think i would go with a fury phase for the speed. also for vengence does elemental damage on charms get modified? if so i would try to get some small lightning and fire charms.

it modifies damage on weapon, and charms, but lightsabre might be best way to get max frames (8) without using alot of IAS

i think a warcry barb is relatively cheap and very fun also.

yeah i think a war cry barb could be fun also just make a vita build a of war cry barb.

Vengence swings as fast as normal attack, and you are going to be using Conviction, therefore yes, you can only reach 8 fpa.

75% ias required on a phase, so socketed lightsabre would probably be your best choice unless you plan to stack

(dont invest any points into fanatacism but on switch have a rod that has +fanatacism it will last about 8 seconds)

dam that sucks because 8fpa sounds realy slow especial when i compare it to my bear who gets 4 so do you guys think that i could win many duels with a convic/vengence pally? and another question how fast/slow is a bstar? would i need to shael the light sabre? or socket it with what?

depends what your dueling , if you go into palapk alot of the time you can 1-2 hit kill most 'dins because they have -70/-20/-20/-70 resists (average resist with highlords+storm)


besides great damage, its Uninterruptable.

bstar would need 240%+ ias for max frame without fanatacism, so if you plan to use bstar you better be able to stack
(i already said how) and be confident you can kill your enemy in about 10 seconds, most of these duels you get hammered, or pound them in a few hits.

so may dueling efeciency will be variable kinda like a fury scougre with the low max damage right? also what is the ias on a light sabre? beacuase u said i need 75 unless i stack which would be a pain in the ass. also what other skills should i get i was thinking about holy shield for less dex required and just eth my light sabre. and i am thinking about getting concen/zeal as my other skills. and just change my gear set up alittle lot duel other classes. those resist numbers were before convition right?

20% ias on lightsabre, aka highlords+20% ias gloves (maybe 1-5 fire dmg/6ll /20 ias [08 craft i think] or lavagouts would work nicely) 20% ias highlords, 15% ias socket shield/armor/helm

rare jewel *4 armor might be best

4-400 light dmg/100-200 fire +100 life (of whale)

i wouldnt choose pally... their very weak in duels ive learned from my own personal dueling with them

true true... ill admit it was my bad making of the character that ruined him but still i have yet to find an own all PVP pally

this pally isnt really made to own all chars just mainly other pallys and assassins and possibly druids but i doubt that beacus of their high life. i can still leach with vengence right just not much beacuse of my low damage.

Good pallys can definitely own druids no matter of how high their life is

lol i dont know my legit pally could possibly own u i think it would just take me about 10 minutes beacuse i have maxed holy freeze and i just run away and foh u but if u have good resist and alot of like it just takes a while to kill u. while it maybe cheap u said you could own melee/nonmelee pallys.

alot of skill points.. it depends on gear/preference really

i can vouch for apoq on that one. Good dru vs good pally, dru will win.

My pally's damn good, and he doesn't have a chance vs Paul.

i figured that concentration/zeal would be a good combo for a secondary set of skills my skills would be max vengence,conviction,concentration. then i would start putting points into zeal and holy shield.

for stats i will have 156 for ss and enough dex for max block with holy shield and rest into vitality.

gear will be light sabre, storm shield, highlords ammy, raven frost, cgrip, 08 gaze, perfect string, blood fist, some 4 socketed armor of the whale, and probably water walks. my charms will be life charms and elemental damage charms.


what is a good fhr breaking point for a pally? and does deadly strike double total damage or just physical damage?
