Post zerker or scourge ?

Posted 2003-06-10, 03:53 AM
k this what happened

i was dueling with my pala vs another pala

same gear and same amount of life, except for the weapon, he has fury scourge and i have fury zerker axe.

I have 4 fps attack but for some reason he seems to be faster than me. How is this possible?

Does the scourge have a faster attack frame somehow ?
or is it just me having bad luck???

Scourge has faster base speed, but the max fpa it can achieve is still the same: 4fpa.

He probably didn't just click lock you, or you simply had bad luck.

Don't just duel one or two times, duel him 5-10 times.

That's what he said though. Maybe you don't have 4fpa attack. Or you lag. Or your ping is bad on that day.

scourge is -10

you need 40% ias for 4fpa attack

fury gives 40% ias so no matter what his gear is atleast the scourge user has 4 frame attack with fanatacism anyhows

the damage you get from high level fanatacism isn't better than +max charms..

he could've used them if the fellow who was losing had horrible min-max dmg and his opponent had alot of +max/life charms he couldnt get out of his opponents high damage lock

It was lag + bad luck that caused me to lose.

my fps was at its peak at 25-30 and most of the time it dropped to 15-20 when alot of action was going on on my screen, until my cpu burned to hell last week

now everything is fixed and d2 is running smoothly with a constant 40 fps

problem solved

I think it was bad luck

Possibly he kept hitting high hits? or hitting deadly strikes
or maybe it was total other way? were u always hitting low hits?
