Post requirements for everything?

what are the size requirements/boundries for images imported. Because I tried to have a scrolling text image with 360x400 and it said inproper png format or some message. It made me angry enough to punch keyboard so please help me.

It has to be 256 colors, which is probably your problem. Save as a 256 color bitmap. (RM2k3 will allow importing of .bmp files)

Also, in the importer screen, make sure you click on the Picture folder in the left collumn before you try to import anything.. otherwise, you're trying to import a 360x400 Picture into a 320x240 maximum Backdrop.

Maximum size of Pictures are 640x640.

That worked, but could you tell me how to format battle animations and chip sets so it doesnt overlap? btw if it helps I am using Paint Shop Pro 7.

Well, each Chipset/Tileset is 16x16 pixels.. there's 30 chips across, 16 chips down. There's really no other way to explain that.. there are different things a chip/tile will do depending on where it is, so I'll just have to refer you to the Help file because I don't want to just copy/paste.

Battle Animations -
480x480 pixels total. Each animation is 96x96, allowing for 25 frames per picture. Just position them like you normally would.. I've never used Paint Shop Pro, so I'm not sure if it has a position label or not (something like x=100, y=40) but if it does, make good use of it.
