Ownage has been better since the CliffyB days.

you can generally tell who uses pwned vs owned or regular type vs "1337". the pwned and 1337 generally is d2 players who do not know what they are talkin about, and get real annoying real fast.

i stick with owned.

Actually, pwned has its roots in Counterstrike.

My friends in real life have taken to using that work instead of owned for verbal taunting such as at LANs or whenever convienient. However, since pwned is difficult to pronounce (only being created because the lowercase "p" is similar to o), we say Poned, rhyming with Toned and Owned, even though that would be an incorrect pronounciation of it.

Whoever made up "Pwned" needs to go back to Arab.

Arabia you mean? And... um... what connection does the replacement of an "o" with a "p" have with Arabia?
