Question about banning

Well , I stopped playing d2 for some months now. I just wanted to know if blizz can finally detect all those D2 HackitUser?
Cuz ´bout a week ago i read that over 400,000 user (and also cd keys) of starcraft diablo and warcraft had been banned for using bots or any kind of cheats.

Blizzard decided to do something, that's all I can say at this moment.

The news you read about is the 3rd mass banning which has taken place.

They banned SC and WC3 cdkeys too? How can they do that, we violated the DIABLO2 End User License agreement, not sc and wc3.... Oh well, They probably can detect if you have these programs.

No, they banned SC and WC3 because they use Maphack and (possibly) other hacks on those games.
