wow.. a barrel.. first realistic thing I've made with max

I haven't figured out how to apply the submaterial textures yet so it's like blueish instead of the rust texture I made.

looks very good with the old metal/rust texture. only thing i can think of is making the two bulges in the middle a little smaller of a buldge.

if you did that in 3ds max then i think its really good if you could make the water look like its moving then it would be very realistic. try doing that part in photoshop maybe?

The real problem with max is to make interiors of objects after they have already been made. Making a spaceship model shouldn't take too long for an experienced modeller, but making the inside will take a LONG while.
