Magus/Guile one and the same ?

I heard lot of talk about it. Well i did some research here is what i found on some website. I havnt played radical dreamer, well i did for about 10 min (used a patch to translate the rom) and i didnt play Chrono Cross much maybe an hour. So if there is something wrong let me know.

First and foremost, the superficial reasons: Guile wears a golden mask to conceal his identity.

When he runs, he levitates in a position that is strikingly similar to Magus.

The most interesting argument for Guile's being Magus, is that the word "guile" means, trickery, which would back up the theory that Guile's mask is hiding his true identity.

Now you might say that Guile aint his Jap name and you would be right ! In the Jap version of Chrono Trigger Janus/Magus cat name is Alfador and in Chrono Cross Jap Guile name is Alfador.

His innate element color is black.

His hair style and color, while different is similar to that of the prince of zeal.

The most convincing of arguments lies game "Radical Dreamers" a game that was only released in jap. (i think anyway)

In this game there are 3 main characters: Serge, Kidd, and Gil, who are commissioned to steal the frozen flame from the general's mansion. Gil in Radical Dreamer apparently, looks, acts, and behaves just like Guile in Chrono Cross. Since the game basically spells out the Kidd is working for the Radical Dreamers in Chrono Cross, it's very likley that Guile is Gil from that same game, since that game also plays heavily into the whole Chrono Cross plot. The reason this is important is, at the end of Radical Dreamers, it's revealed that Gil is actually MAGUS, who was trying to find Schala. The hair, the floating, the black magic, and the Radical Dreamers proof all points to Guile as being Magus. When one takes into account that "Guile" is not much of a linguistic jump from "Gil" and the record found in Chronopolis it becomes increasingly clearer.

In Chrono Trigger Janus/Magus is the prince of Zeal or Jeen in Jap version. Zenan is the hometown of Guile which could be a simple merging of Zeal and Jeen name.

You guyz think it s true/wrong. Spill it out and say why
