"let them know you can crush them" makes it sounds like you can kill them if you want :O, which gives kids fear.

But that's not the point, my mom used to raise me the exact same way. If i got bitchy, she would take a close hanger and WHAM.

In a few minutes i'd be sitting in a corner sucking up my tears saying "i'm sorry mommy"

Parents these days need to raise kids this way more often, instead of letting them watch TV all day, and freaking watch disney channel, so they grow like whiney brats that think they can do anything.
