Why does the larger gear appear to be moving faster than the smaller one?

It looks too childish, I like the one I have now better. I mean that with all respect seeing as you did take the time to make the one I have now

BTW your avatar looks better when it's not 'pulsating.' The image seems more surrealist(which is cool), which doesn't really match 'pulsating.' Plus when it pulsates it blurs slightly(kinda like when you take an SNES game full screen... there are only so many pixels so blowing up the image makes it look crappy)
