We're sure enough about the big bang that whatever we find is far more likely to alter the details of the theory in some way rather than replacing it. It's like the theory of evolution. New fossils cause us to revise the details of the theory, but it's highly unlikely that anything we find is going to cause us to change the theory in its entirety. The Big Bang theory is supported by oodles of evidence, and has the overwhelming scientific consensus.
