Well, the main character (Nicholas Cage) is a weather man, and basically the world shits on him. People throw things at him, his kids don't like him, his dad is arrogant and distant, and he is trying to mend fences with his ex-wife and all of them. I haven't seen it in awhile, but it's quite funny how he gets screwed over.
