GT HD was going to be a full blow game, but was dropped in favour of GT5, which supposedly WILL have online multiplayer. I think GT5 is in production at the moment.

GT HD is now a single track download with 10 unlockable cars, an unlockable drift mode, and an unlockable backwards version of the track. Looks nice, but it ain't my cup of tea.
