The fire effect is nice, but it conciels the text, and you don't want that. Possibly, instead of having a more saturated text, tint it black. It will make it stand out, and not detract much.

Well I can edit it anytime since it was made in Photoshop CS2 and really I just followed a tutorial up to a point, but then went crazy and added a lot more, like the backround spikes.
