I might not do any of the fancy stuffs you have in there, but let me offer you advice I often offer people when they post title screens on RMXP.org.

The fire effect is nice, but it conciels the text, and you don't want that. Possibly, instead of having a more saturated text, tint it black. It will make it stand out, and not detract much.
