It may be called sfaety glass but it isn't safe.

A few months ago a lad in my glass somehow managed to put his fist through a pane of safety glass. Comletely lacerated the viens in his arm up to his shoulder, nearly severed all the muscle. He had to have extensive plastic surgery and phsyiotherapy to get has arm working again.

Never trust anything to be safe it it's called "safety something". I once had my hand cut open by a pair of safety scissors in primary school.
