breathe in car-exhaust fumes - die of carbon monoxide poisoning

hang - die of compression of windpipe, obstruction of blood flow, rupture of nerve structures in neck; fracture or dislocation of the first three cervical vertebrae should bring instant death

take an overdose of pills - die of barbiturate poisoning, or of a heart failure caused by profound shock to system, or coma

drown - die of suffocation owing to water in lungs

jump off a high building - die of multiple injuries

overdose on alcohol - die of alcoholic (toxic) poisoning

jump under a train - die of multiple injuries
