Also, I've searched both game cd's (diablo 2 and the cinematics one) for these files Files  2char.mpq d2music.mpq, d2xmusic.mpq d2xvideo.mpq (for NO CD crack)
to be able to play without using the cd but those files do not appear to exist on my cd's.
They also say:
D2classic step for no cd. - also required for xpac.
Copy the file d2char.mpq and d2music.mpq from the D2 play cd to the diablo II folder
Can't find that file either :S
