If I remember correctly they did the same thing at the e3 for all event, starting a day early.

I'm playing it right now and it seems the old characters from the e3 for all event were all saved, just too bad all the items and stuff are gone .

So far I really like the look of the first new area where you start in. Gogo warrior henchman
