I edited my post above to include more but it would seem that if his culture really feels like that then there's nothing we can do. Religion is one of, if not, the most powerful force in some peoples lives (We have seen this with events involving hard-core fanatics) and it does not matter what the moral or logical thing to do is; they will side with what they think their culture or religion would want. Of course most people or a lot of people would easily label things like that stupid from a moral or logical viewpoint, that does not apply when it comes to cultural or religious beliefs. But the point is, this is a gaming forum and he can keep some of this to himself.
