6 Record you dreams like i said above because you cant control what happens in them and most of the time they dont make sense. But if you record them and connect them together to make sense into a well put out story they will make sense to others. ( in the Fiction Writer's workshop its a long ass paragraph about triple this size and took me awhile to summarize)
7 (this is my personal addition) remeber that an idea cant be the entire story its just a piece of the puzzle
8 remeber verbal, emotional, and physical fights
9 this is not really an idea its more like helping your self through it but use an emotion towards your game story (excitement may be the worst cause you want to get it done to quick and then get bored)
10 Somethin that really matters to you or that you are trying to hide deep down even from yourself
11 this is kinda funny but he has an exscersei where you say (A person you love(romantic or blood wise),hate , annoyed with, etc) a close one. But he puts you start a sentense with My mother never and you have to finish it and keep writing for around 2-3 pages
12 finish or fill in the gaps of bible stories, nursery rhymes, etc basically hes saying that if someone put in the effort to do it once and a shitload of people put time into reading, watching or listening to it then its worth rewriting again just play with it and add suprises and the word he uses variation.
13 lol kinda funny to me but steal from history the basic idea of most rpgs but add parts of actual history like putting together George washington throwing a rock over a big ass river and mixing it the death of socrates and how Julius ceasar was the only guy in roman history to conqueror Gual. put them all into one person and tada you have a good story where a hero Throws somethin over a large body of earth which people cant travel through and then he conquors the enevitable and is killed by his own country with poison for producing some idea people dislike but is the right thing to do. There you have a good ass story just make it more detailed then i just dead it was a 2 sec thing give me credit.
14 use an intense emotion o wait i said that already lol came from another book
15 when you play a game or watch a movie and your pulled into it dramtacally. I mean such as if John dies you get pissed at the arthur, or if pete goes into a room you get scared and stop watching it for a few minutes cause you got over ly creeped out or if your another type of person you hug the couch cushion from under you and hug it (anyone who does that ever realize that sitting on the springs is uncomfortable, maybe i just think things through to much)
16 grab stories from magazines the news from a testomony in church , fromthe radio, the television shows you get stuck in and will let food burn for steal them all mix them with each other and you got a good ass story
