From what I've read about this game, it simply sounds
amazing. This is a must have for any serious PC gamer. The original Doom was probably the best old-school FPS, and Doom III looks like it might take the spot for best FPS
ever.. But enough of me speculating how Doom III will be.

Seems to me that hardware requirements just keep increasing. Hell, I'll have to buy another new computer soon, it seems.
Now, for the hardcore enthusiasts, the hardware guide has also outlined the "Ultimate Enthusiast Doom III system." They reccomend an ABIT KV8Pro motherboard, an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Socket 754 processor, 1GB of Corsair XMS DDR3200XL, and the BFGTech 6800 OC which should be out sometime in mid-August.
