I wasn't playing burnt CDs, they were actual original copies, but one day it just said the dreaded error message. I took apart the whole disc drive like some website said to, but then it gave me a message like "Your xbox is seriously damaged and needs to be properly repaired! Please send it to an official XBox service representitive now." so now i just play my gamecube and plan on getting a ps2 but i still miss my xbox
