Well, frankly, I think it depends entirely upon the type of animal you're hunting. If you're hunting elk, then I say "give yourself some challenge." Hunt with a bow. Ted Nugent hunts solely with bows, and he's fucking amazing at it. If you're hunting a fucking rhino, then I don't consider a rifle to be an unfair piece of equipment to carry.
