I dont know what its like for XP but I guess about the same, right click on desktop, choose properties then go to settings tab where u can check the resolution and stuff. click on advanced and there u should see it somewhere.
OR u can check in dxdiag, located in ur directX folder


why u want to know really ? U bought a computer and u dont know what videocard u got ?
