im really suprised that FFIX is doing so well as i thought FFVII was far better (only my opinion) in storyline and character development (except Vivi was a brilliant character in FFIX).
I have a completely contrasting opinion about the first disc of FFIX though, i thought that AFTER the first disk it got really boring and tedius where the storyline just seemed to drag on and on. I liked the first disk so much because it was all about discovery and peaceful kingdoms where everyone seemed really innocent and i thought it was nice to see that in a FF
