When I read the topic I thought it was going to be a post about actual wind.
Here in Reno, NV, we are having the second worst storm ever coming. While driving home today we went through a small dust hurricane. And many waves of dust storms on the highway.
People's motorcycles are all tipped over, there's thunder and rain / snow / hail coming. And some of the billboards here have been stripped due to the dust hitting it hard.
Last time we had winds like this, our roof blew off and the neighbors stone / rock roof blew off right onto our fucking car.

Err, anyway... The poem is cool, except I think you tried to hard at irony. Then again, I'm not a poet... So... What do I know.

Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...
