you guys ever tried the RPG maker sphere? Its a lot more complicated but it is extremely versital. You can make all sorts of different games, from missle command to zelda. It requires knowlage of javascript though. i personally suck at it, i have to use premade sprites and stuff. but for the advanced user :D it can kick ass

heh thats the problem, i dont plan on learning javascript... rpgmaker 2000 is really still a great tool

RPG Maker 2000... it's powerful enough for now. Though, there is a newer version coming out, so it may be obsolete soon. Hopefully the new one will be out soon...
