Its actually pretty good... I played for a few hours and upgraded my Newbie Knife to Bad Knuckles then to a bad Bat then to a good stiletto =P But I'm still killing small rats and sewer flies.

what are the system reqs for this game (before I waste my time) and is it worth it???

The requirements to play Neocron are:
A Pentium 2 processor or higher
32 megabytes of RAM or higher (128 MB highly recommended)
A Direct 3D compliant 3D card, at least as fast as Voodoo2 Graphics from 3DFX
A 56.6 k modem (Internet connection is obviously required)
Microsoft Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP
Microsoft DirectX 7 or higher

I need some help from someone who already has neocron installed and patched... when i load it up to play its all funky.... the pixels and polygons and stuff are all blown up and weird and I cant play, this is the same thing that happend with the offline demo too.. I just got the latest drivers from nvidia for my geforce4mx and it still dont work.... does anyone know of any drivers that will make it work or is the only way to get a new 3d card or use my tnt2 card?

Maybe your in the wrong color mode? Do you have Directx 7.0 or higher?

yes im i got directx 8.1 and am in 32 bit color.. ill try 16 bit but that seems like it would make it worse

Try 32, 16, 256, etc. Try them all

nope didnt work..... and even if 256 worked i wouldnt play it like that.... too harsh for me

get the new driver for your graffix card... why would this game take you all so long to dl? dont you guys have cable/high speed internet?

I have cable but that file is still humongous!
so thats why it would take so long plus your relying on the speed of the server like filespy you will be waiting a while

dont dl off of gamespy it sucks ass...

btw is this game ONLINE MULTIPLAYER?
