Console question

im not sure about this but is it true that in the ps2 and xbox you can connect them to your computer and play online with a shitload of people instead of just 4?

no you cannot do that YET. they are coming out with a thing to connect to the internet, all you need is the cable.

why does gamespy has xbox games listed to play online?

Sum Yung Guy 2002-08-23 02:09 PM

you already can play xbox games online with gamespy... ask NonGayMan about it

You can play Gamecube online, theres the connector you can but and everything too.

gamecube does NOT have online multiplayer yet. PS2's online adapter just came out in the US, and it works great. Xbox comes with an ethranet port, thus you can play through gamespy, but the lag is horrible. Even the fastest broadband connections play like dial up, and only a handful of games support it. Xbox Live! comes out in a few months, and that will be the first practical use of online play with xbox. If you're looking at a console right now purely for the online play go with PS2.

The ps2 official Network adapter comes out Aug 27,2002

and you can use a router/hub from you pc to play online for free no isp charge!

and with a great lineup of games should be fun

Check out the PS2 forums for more info
