PS2 duh

ps2 = pushed to the limits
gamecube and xbox = yet to be pushed to their limits.
i like gamecube cuz of the size, the comfortable controllers, statswise it outbeats ps2 by more than enough, and it has many good games out and many good releases coming.

I based my decision on what is the best console right now. PS2 by far has the best selection of games... including backwards compatable with PS1...... can GameCube boost that? or Xbox(duh)
Maybe in a year they will be better but for now PS2 in my opinion is best.

Ps2 for the same reasons everyone else said and because sony tends to make a new stride in everything before the other consoles...

oh yeah Network adapter comes out this month also :D

I say GameCube. I'm just not very impressed with the selection of games on PS2. It's a great console, but I only own 2 games for it, and I'm not really hyped about buying any others for a while.

Im very anti consle sorry :-\ flame me if you wish but i HATE all consle games and systems (Well maybe not ALL some old SNES and NES games i liked to play) but besides that i dont like any console game :-P

Edit: But if im going to vote for any, i vote Ps2 cues Ps1 game Medal Gear Solid was a cool game :-P and i saw a bit of part two on the ps2, pritty good lookin but still dont like consoles. specly FPS games on consoles!!

what are you gonna play online? i'm looking at madden for right now i guess.

Right now I am looking at Socom maybe Timesplitters 2
but if you get one be sure to get Socom Vcomegasin is supposed to be getting it too and we maybe starting a zelaron clan on there...

Madden? I hate the Sports Genre for Video games I rather play the actual game but Blitz is the exception :D

what do you have against consoles kida? in some games the controls are better than a pc and some games its worse than the pc. graphics are good, they are cheap, online play, etc etc. they are becoming a small yet powerful pc for just games.

I think ps2 is the best, mainly b/c of the rpgs..

I will give it to xbox it has good gf. But its not always about the gf its all about the gaming and thats why i like ps2.

PS2 has the largest and varied selection and even has a DVD.
Game Cube is small and compact but game selection is Limited at the current time.
Xbox is one of the largest consoles currently out (physically) and it hasawesome graphics yet, same as the Game Cube its game selection is limited.
Dream Cast was good during its release but since they have discontinued creation of the system its been losing popularitly along with all the other sega products.

I also agree with everyone elses opinions about these systems but personally I believe Ps2 is currently the better system at this time.

I chose gamecube, it is small, convenient, and has comfy controllers. IT is basicly still in the beginning stage but the hard worked on games are just starting to come out. PS2 is good, but I think too many Games that should be worth $2. I also think they should have made some additions to the controller. X-Box....dont get me started.
