Truly 2 bit colors!
And people think we have moves made in "black and white". The truth is that those are greyscales, and if you would play an Atari game, you would probably get a shock, unless you got addicted to MS Paint, and found out how the invert color tool really worked. :]

This is an example of Atari graphics:

I really liked Atari.... although I was playing it from the ages of about 4-6 so I don't remember much but pong... :(
wasnt pong its own system?
I believe Pong was a game designed for the Atari, but I could be wrong... maybe I just had the "Pong System" like I said, it was when I was 4-6 so it's fuzzy in my memory...
i liked pitfall and asteroids
has anyone ever played bump 'n jump. i think it might have been for intellivision. it was a car game where the car would jumb but it looked like it was just getting bigger. i used to play that game so much!
Atari was fun, I still own a 7800 system with like 48 games.
so ppl STILL like those things..
of course, and we still like these, and even if i haven't the console anymore, i play with my PC via emulators.
It's really funny to see back the graphics and the gameplay of first games. And i must admit that sometimes, i have more fun with an old game than a brand new one. |
yea, compare the ataris 8 bit graphins tho the gamecube's graphics. its pretty funny
