What kind of morons write a flash site to advertise an iPhone game?

These morons...

Thank you for that bit of randomness.

While yes, being completely pointless. They want to be showy and fancy to make the people "Aw." Though I can't say that I've ever been one to like flash sites. I actually am quite annoyed by most of them because of the sudden sounds and such. But, simpletons love the hype and flashy aesthetics.

The key point, though, is that you can't view them on the iPhone, one of the markets for the game, and they fail to supply a backup that does work with the iPhone.

I get the feeling you are a very angry person, WW.

One could make a good living from correcting these types of issues for businesses.

I thought the iPhone had flash support. Guess I was wrong, never owned one myself. So I had assumed since my cheap little phone has flash support on it, that the iPhone would as well.

The Android doesn't either, that website wouldn't load.

You've seriously not heard about the whole Adobe vs. Apple thing? It's been knocking about for months!

As for Android not having Flash, you need 2.1 or higher, like so:

That's my HTC Desire running Android 2.2 with built in Flash 10.1. I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it works.

Nope, I don't really pay much attention to Adobe nor Apple. Or for that matter, most companies as of right now. Been a bit too busy to be wondering about reading stuff randomly. I do have to say though, stupid thing to do on Apple's part. However, as I've seen with other things. People will forget and things will continue with or without the few who get flustered over it. Which means that it's likely flash support won't be on the iPhone ever.

Anyways, nice to see that Google is all for flash. Then again, I like a lot of what Google's been doing in the free and open source markets.

Only because they are the most current and have learned from everyone else's mistakes. Another few months and the next big thing will come along. :( Society sickens me.

No, it's more like

Google>Apple

Lenny 2010-10-08 10:12 AM

Nah:

Open Shop > Closed Shop.

D3V 2010-10-08 10:15 AM
