I don't have much info or resource, since I got it from someone pretty unreliable (a youtube comment), but I wanna know if it's true or not.

Actually, in light of the evidence, I must agree with !K_A!. Squenix, it seems, are but a former shell of their great selves. :(

That's what I figure. I'm not even a fan of FF honestly, but if they can have any sort of success in the future, SquareEnix might hang around and we may one day still hold on to some hope of a Chrono Trigger sequel.

I don't think they'd for a FFXIV, if XI was so bad. Well, unless they had only used XI as a "test" or something. It's possible XIV is what they put their real effort into. Then again, I've not looked into either XI or XIV at all.
