"I told him that if he dared to swear to God that he didn't owe me the money, then I would waive his debt," said Huang.

Xu made the oath, but was suddenly struck by lightning a minute later.

He was immediately taken to hospital where doctors confirmed he had been hit by lightning. He is expected to make a full recovery.

I read about this story a while ago. Not sure how long ago, but it was freakin' hilarious when I read it. I'm guessing he was struck down for lying.

Yes, because when you don't believe in god you are shunned to the depths of hell where you will live for an eternity, and do manual labor while being whiped tormented and beaten. People who believe in god imo are scared of the consequences of what happens if you don't. I for one don't plan to live in fear from a figment(sp) of people's imagination.

Well while YOU are an Atheist, meaning you think there is no freaking possible way there is a God, I am an Agnostic, which means I don't necessarily believe in God, but I don't NOT believe in God, and I don't think there is proof to justify either of those beliefs. So to ME, there is a slight chance you could go to Hell. Just saying. :)
