RPG Maker What?

Could you tell us what RPG Maker Version you are using? Otherwise no one will answer you.

They've asked a question before, and it's been established that they're using RM2K3.

---

I don't see what the "Erase Event" is for, to be honest. I haven't done anything in RPGMaker for years now, but I don't think it's needed. Heck, that might even be the problem.

I didn't know what version they were using. Erase Event is helpful if you have someone talk to you then leave. You erase his event so that you can still walk around and do stuff and now the event is officially erased. Saves switches and variables.

Don't tell the event to play the song again! Just tell the area you go into to set the starting bgm as the song you want it to keep playing. If it is an area where you went into preveously then copy and paste the area with a different starting music. How simple, and if you plan to walk around, then it is perfect becuase you will go into a building and when you exit it then it takes you to the normal area with the other starting music or if you leave then you should have it set just like the building to take you to the original instead of the copy. That is incase after the event you want another song to play.

i'm sorry if this sounds rude

i'm sorry if this souns rude... but i think you got a wrong idea about my question before... the real story is like this... P.S = forgot to say = rm2k3 is what i'm using
------
Before = (something like something dont need to mention)
first, i done a dragon event =
fight dragon... switch 0025 = dragon dead now r on.. then find the exit that an old man (the victim of the dragon) said there is one... after that we enter the exit and straight go to the inn... and automaticcly got fully recover... then... shake..(plays sound effect = quake) flash shake..( same as before) AFTER THE SHAKE THEN THE FOREBONDING song are play..
the real point is... i want it continue from the event until outside.. there's three room until outside
1. This event's room(inn floor 2)
2. Inn floor 1 (middle)
3. outside(the ogre are there)

And another question = GOT IT????
to let anyone know forebonding is a panic song! sound like when every house is burn etc. m

Simple switch process, I think. After the shakes and flashes, put in a switch (like Ogre Battle). In the other maps, put an event that is started when that switch has been activated, with the events

:Change BGM-Forebonding
(and, if you want...)
:Shake every 5 seconds (or something).

Then, when you go outside and kill the Ogre (or whatever), end that switch. Simple.

thanx... it did help

I've been doing this since I was about 7, back when they brought out RPG Maker for the original PlayStation. Those were the good ole days before there were usb keyboard ports.

Ha! I remember the old PS version of RPG Maker. In fact, that's how I got started here on Zelaron - I went to go buy a PS copy, but they were sold out, so I did a quick google search, and it brought me here.

God, that was a hard game to play. The only thing I got to work was the world map.

I used that for years before finding out about the computer version, which in my eyes 2k-3 are just like it.
