Has Anyone Else...

Has anyone else, besides myself, downloaded the Trial of RMVX and then used the English mod. The New System is sorta funky personaly. If you are looking for it I have it at my site under the Gaming Department Goto http://www.nrgs-fuzion-gaming-america.com

How does it compare to regular RMXP? And even RM2K3?

It brought back the layers from RM2k-3, but like RMXP has an unlimited size for the tilesets. *Awesome*
Great support of Air and boat transport unlike RM2k-3. *Awesome*
Auto Shadows are neat. *Great*
Automatic Dungeon Generator, revived from RM2k-3, fun to play around with. *Neat*
Retains RGSS Scripting System from RMXP. *Nice*
Graphics sizing is the same as RMXP. *~~~*

There is some of the important stuff. Download it from my site and play around with it. You'll see all of the added stuff.

Now I have to admit to really liking the RMXP layer system - I'd choose it over the RM2K3 system any day.

Auto-shadows sounds interesting.

I never realised the dungeon generator was taken out of RMXP, to be honest. :p ice to have it back, all the same.

---

I might wait for the American release before I download it - English from the word Go, and I'm busy until February, so I won't get time to play with it if I do download it now.

EDIT: Your site is looking good, btw.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the English version of the game too.

At the start of the New Year I got high speed DSL so now I can upload things. That's the reason my site has more stuff on it now. Personally my favorate section is my News Section.

I'm really excited. 60FPS is enough to win me over no matter what.

RGSS 2.0 will add more depth to the scripting capabilities.

The tilesets look great - I can't wait to rip them up and make them look less sqaure.

The charactersets are less than perfect - But who am I to complain, I can sprite.

Less newbies will be asking questions such as "HOW CAN I DO HAS FACES" or "I LIKE CARS HOW GET"

If used right, it has the capabilities to match the quality of old school commercial RPGs. Performance-wise, of course.

GLG, I really like your site. In fact I love it. Puts mine to shame, I haven't had time to work on it since the summer. It still has the WIP signs up. :P

Good news is, I have a Web designer & PHP programmer willing to do my site in exchange for illustrations for a novel he's writing. I'm also getting a new domain come february when mine expires.

I'm not Board, and I know FTP, sweet!

I just now 4:02a.m. in the morning Monday January the 14th learned how to use ftp! I can upload unlimited size files, no more FileFront! Direct Downloading. If you ever run out of space on a website, upload something to filefront, then go into Internet Explorer and click download now. A box will pop up asking you to download it. Don't click save file or anything else,
just don't touch it. Make sure your mouse is over it and go into notepad. Look at the bottom and you will see the actual download address. It will be something like http://38.118.1.132/+7wpd5ef/
Why did I write all of that!

EDIT: If you were on my site before 7:00a.m. Monday 14, there were annoying chunk files, but I deleted all of them! I have full files now! FTP is awesome!
